Rhonda Dowling, LPC
My passion has always been helping people and children choose a healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically. I am dedicated to working with individuals and families who encounter difficulties related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, oppositional behaviors, bi-polar, and issues related to autism spectrum disorders. I am currently utilizing emotional transformation therapy which can alleviate emotional distress as well as physical pain caused by stress. I believe in the therapeutic process and I practice a style of openness, caring and acceptance for my clients. I feel I can relate to parents of special needs children because I have a son with special needs.
I have worked as a school counselor and I specialize in students who suffer with behavioral problems. I have worked with parents and teachers to formulate behavioral adjustments in order to help students be successful. I also have experience working with clients who are in crisis and have suicidal issues.
I am flexible with scheduling and do see clients on Saturday and Sundays.
